I have my first counseling session today since finding out my husband is a narc back in January. So excited to get all of this off my chest and have a professional to talk to. It's so great having this group as well!! Still emotionally having a hard time and know it will get better when I can financially go NC. I hope my therapist is prepared for this. I have mentioned emotional abuse and anxiety, but narcissist abuse is what I really having issues with. Probably is what causes my anxiety as well.

Really proud of you for getting help and not going this journey alone! Anxiety definitely comes with the territory of pain, trauma, abuse, etc. Remember you are worthy of health! Take good care of yourself. No matter the length of our healing journey it's helpful to walk it together and realize good can come from the ashes of our past.
