Hi, usual story met (my now ex) a while ago, thought it was

Hi, usual story met (my now ex) a while ago, thought it was the soul mate and she told me her ex was a narcissist, everything was amazing. Then the silent treatments started, the dead eyes, at first I thought she was affected by her exes abuse - now I'm wondering if that was a big deception. Anyway I moved into her house then not long after I was told it was over, had a couple of 'promise to start over' days but no, it ended. Now I'm moving out soon - but it has been awful. After assuring me they 'were just going to look after the children - not interested in men' I found out they were contacting people on dating sites (where they met me so the cycle is starting again...)
My main point is that I've got stronger, can see a way out but On Saturday night she was chatty, flirty, very close to me on sofa, not wearing much (drinking). Nothing happened but I am wondering why they suddenly decided to almost lure me back again? the next day it was forgotten about and nothing was said! Any ideas?

@Lesliekess62 Thanks yeah oh I am moving out for sure, the change of tactics just surprised me, but hey I guess it doesn't matter, the main thing is I didn't fall for it again I suppose!

Even if she gets new supply she may try to hoover you. They have to have a steady flow of admiration to continuously feed their bottomless egos. When she decides the new supply is outdated she may try to use you to have a run-to. She sounds unbalanced and probably wants to create chaos between men to feed her ego and make her feel like some huge prize. They're pretty sick, you know. Glad you have seen her unmasked face. Good luck.

Thank you, when I finally figured that the person I fell in love was just a character she played it made it easier to deal with it. Trouble is because things like Sat night cause old feelings to come back, even though I didn't fall for it, it still hurts!
